There Is Wastewater In There Somewhere!

Actually there is about  95% to 99% wastewater containing Water Soluble Oils, Lubricants, Cleaning Solvents and various other contaminants utilized by this initial Zero Discharge Industrial Facility. The SC-NG550 Evaporator is installed above a 56,000+ gallon holding tank whereby the Evaporator inlet pump feed line is situated from several feet off the bottom of the tank. The Evaporator 4" discharge lines are situated for gravity flow back into the same tank.

The Evaporator operation concentrates this wastewater solution to  high concentrations of Water Soluble Oils during (1) or (2), 12+ hour shift cycles as dictated by the amount of daily produced wastewater from plant operations.

After this 12+ hour batch cycle as accommodated by 24 hour facility  shift operations,  the Evaporator is shut down and the  contents  drained back into the holding tank.  A percentage of the considerably concentrated Water Soluble Oils, and Oil  after discharge remains as Oil in the tank with the contained 20 to 50% water blended back into the holding tank wastewater. During this discharge process, the unique design of the SC Evaporator allows for the solids contained inside the Evaporator Tank to be completely removed automatically.

With the increase in the holding tank temperatures of around 80 to 90 deg. F. from the Evaporator operation discharge  the oil becomes suitable for skimming and resale as opposed to the prior method of  the entire wastewater effluent transported and disposed off site at $.28 cents per gallon.

The SC-NG 550 Evaporator is very efficient and begins evaporation almost immediately after start-up with maximum output achieved in less than 30 minuets. With less than 300 hours of actual burner operation during start-up and training, the customer realized over $27,000 in savings as opposed to previous truck transportation and off site disposal and was able to skim and recover over 1,200 gallons of oil product for resale. After 2 months of evaporation and concentration, No off site wastewater disposal was required.

Complete wastewater, and condensed steam discharge analytical testing was conducted in accordance with standard methods (The Solid Waste Manual SW-846), and EPA methods for Chemical Analysis of Water and Wastes and/or 40 CFR part 136 with Certifications from NELAP and USACE.

The ESI SC-NG550 Evaporation System and Mode Of Operation far exceeds State and Federal Rules and Regulations.
