Controller Information
The Cathodic Protection Output Controller is an efficient wattage converter for stepping the generator voltage down to a required output level. This unique feature allows the generator to operate closer to its peak power point over a wider load range.A printed circuit board with LED indicator illustrates converter functions: The PC board is environmentally sealed: A low loss FET and energy recovery components are used in the converter output circuitry to increase efficiency: Continuous load adjustment and solid state circuitry are provided for fine output voltage control. All functions are engraved into the instrument panel. Copper Compression lugs are provided for generator and load connections.
Continuous reading output voltmeter and ammeter are standard. Designed to provide up to 20 volts DC and 15 amps DC output. Unit is very reliable and carries a one year warranty against manufactured defects. The standard enclosure is a 16 gauge painted steel cabinet with hinged door, pad lockable hasp, manual holder, and latch. Optional Equipment Generator input voltmeter and ammeter. Second negative with balancing resistor, shunt, and switch for existing ammeter. This arrangement is for protection of two wells or structures. Additional negative with adjustable resistor and shunt, for protection of a flow line.
